They will play up the benefits of the product without informing you of the risks or negative aspects. Your best bet is to search for some objective user reviews at message boards, forums, sites like Epinions and of course the EPA website. These are the best sources for honest information that can help you make an educated decision.

Whether or not you try gas saving device fuel vapor apparatus or not, you should still try to improve fuel efficiency by taking some simple steps. For example, walk, bike or carpool when possible. Drive at a steady speed, try to stay under 55 mph, drive with the windows up and do not allow your car to idle unnecessarily. Even in the winter months you don't need to warm your vehicle longer than 45 seconds. There are lots of free resources available that can teach you simple tips for saving fuel and getting the most out of your car.
